A competitive 4-Stage Tour.

All participants must have a current Cycling Australia/International Racing License to enter and be graded by the QLD State Handicapper before entering.

 ** IMPORTANT TO NOTE: start times may change. It is up to the rider to confirm final start times 1 week out from the event.


  1. The overall winner of each division, will be the rider who has the lowest accumulative time after the rider has completed all stages.
  2. The GC Winner from each Stage will wear the Champion Systems Leaders Jersey for the next stage. Every Division has a Leaders Jersey and KOM Jersey.
  3. In the case of a dead heat in the general classification. The rider with the fastest time in the ITT will be declared the winner.
  4. There are no sprint points allocated or no intermediate sprints
  5. A rider must complete the full previous stage in order to start the next stage (I have highlighted this on page 7 of the program) 
  6. The KOM will be awarded the red poker dot jersey after the Road Race Stages.  KOM Locations are: SATURDAY = at the top of Limpinwood Range (Second peak) & SUNDAY = top of Clothiers Creek Range – Farrants Hill.                                                                                         Points are            1st – 5                    2nd – 3                                   3rd – 2.
  7. Time bonuses will be awarded to the first 3 place getters in stages 2, 3, 4.                        BONUSES 1st 10 seconds               2nd 6 seconds                     3rd 4 seconds
  8. If as a result of a fall, puncture of mechanical mishap in the last three kilometre, a rider shall be credited with the same time of those riders they were with at the time of the incident
  9. Riders withdrawing from a stage (for whatever reason) must inform the chief judge
  10. Riders who are lapped in the criterium stage, will be withdrawn.  That rider will have his/her average time per lap added for each lap that he/she has been withdrawn, plus a 20 sec  per lap penalty applied.
  11. Criterium Mishaps – Free Laps. When a recognised mishap occurs, the riders involved shall be allowed afree lap on which to resume their position in the race as at the moment of the mishap. No free laps shall be permitted in the last 3 laps  Riders who have been allowed free laps shall not be penalised in the final classification. A rider who is ineligible for a free lap is responsible to make up any lost ground. The penalty for fraudulent use of the free lap rule may include disqualification or suspension.
